• The job postcode, not just a town
• Photos, on most enquiries — that is the whole point of the form
• Service type, rough size and the condition the customer can see
• Timescale and whether the property is occupied
• Name, phone and email, with their preferred contact method and time
• Property age and listed status where it is relevant to the job
• Whatever they wrote in the notes

The cap

Every enquiry goes to a maximum of 3 businesses. Not eight. Not "as many as want it".

You have probably paid for leads from services that do not work this way, and you know exactly how that goes: you ring within ten minutes and you are the fourth person to call, the homeowner is already irritated, and the job was priced to the floor before you saw it. That model burns contractors and homeowners simultaneously, and it is not one we are interested in running.

What we check before sending you anything

• That the business exists and is who it says it is
• Current public liability insurance, with the expiry recorded
• Employer's liability where you employ people
• That you genuinely work in the postcode districts you claim
• That you genuinely offer the services you claim
• Any relevant competence or accreditation you tell us about, verified where it is verifiable

We re-check insurance at renewal. If it lapses, enquiries stop until it is back in place. That is not us being difficult — we tell homeowners on this site that we check it, so it has to be true.

What we ask of you

• Contact an accepted enquiry, and do it promptly
• Tell us if you cannot take it, so it can go elsewhere quickly
• Quote your own prices on your own terms — we do not set them and we do not take a cut of the job
• Put your quotation in writing, with the scope and VAT position clear
• Do not disturb a suspect textured coating without proper assessment
• Tell the customer honestly when a job needs a survey rather than a photo price

We follow up with customers to ask whether they were actually contacted. Businesses that repeatedly accept enquiries and then ignore them get removed. This is the only thing that keeps the list worth being on.

Where we need coverage most

Honestly: everywhere, because this is new. Particularly useful right now would be businesses covering Oswestry and the border villages, Ludlow and the south of the county, and anyone who genuinely does lime and period-property work rather than listing it because it sounds good.

Also worth hearing from: anyone set up for landlord void turnarounds and repeat commercial work, where the value is in reliability rather than one-off jobs.

Contractors pay to receive matched enquiries. We would rather discuss the specifics with you directly than publish a rate card before we know what coverage and volume look like in your area. There is no charge to apply, no charge to be checked, and no obligation.
